We believe that it takes time to build a therapeutic relationship. In our practice we take the time to get to know each patient's reason for seeking mental health treatment. We do not subscribe to a cookie cutter approach, each patient's individual history and experience is important in building a therapeutic plan of care. We work together with each patient to develop a plan that is evidence-backed and effective for their individual needs.
Mental health affects all aspects of our lives including our relationships with ourselves and others and our ability to function at our best level. I am passionate about providing an empathetic and supportive environment for all patients. I work with each patient to develop an evidence-based, patient-centered, holistic plan to promote mental wellness. Treatment plans include medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle modification and supportive therapy to target the symptoms that are impacting the patient's life. I treat children and adults with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD and mood disorders.

Psychiatry is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional or behavioral problems. Psychiatric providers are board certified mental health nurse practitioners. They are trained and qualified to assess physical and psychological disorders and are licenses to prescribe medications.

Nurse practitioners are skilled and knowledgeable providers and follow the nursing model of providing care with a humanistic approach. They tend to the the physical and emotional needs of the patient and implement treatment plans to assist patients to live a healthy lifestyle.
Holistic care refers to the provision of care that is based on understanding the relationship between physical, psychological and emotional dimensions. Holistic care emphasizes a partnership between the provider and the patient to achieve wellness.

Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, can help people with a variety of mental health conditions, emotional or life stressors. These can include relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief or life changes. The goal is to help the patient control or even eliminate troubling symptoms , navigate challenges and improve well-being. Psychotherapy provides a safe space to discuss feelings, concerns, and goals, without judgment.
